Development

Development of OlsGrow began after testing several different apps, as well as self-hosted web apps. But none of them quite met my needs. Even though there was nothing wrong with them, planning for OlsGrow began.

OlsGrow was developed using help from AI—there’s no hiding that. For me, it turned out that way because I hadn’t kept up with the advancements in programming languages. But I still wanted to do this for my own sake. I’m making it available to everyone in case anyone wants to use it and doesn’t see any problem with the fact that it was developed using AI.

Development is ongoing

I'm constantly finding things that can be improved and new features that can be added. And here are a few things I'm thinking about adding:

• QR Codes: To quickly scan for features in the app, perhaps?
• Barcode Scanner: More features to quickly add items to inventory?
• REST API: More features for the REST API.

Translations

If you'd like to contribute a translation, you can do so on Codeberg Translate. Translations are added when they are 100% translated.
